Once you've configured the program, it will 'intercept' any download you wish to perform and you will be able to download stuff and taking advantage of the features of 'Get Right'. When you start the program for the first time, a small configuration wizard will prompt you to select the account type (your computer user or everyone), Internet connection type (you can test your connection as well), web browser substitution (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera), target directory for downloads and the option of downloading from multiple mirrors. I say this because not only you can pause/resume downloads when using this program, but there are lots of other tools and features which can make your life a lot easier.
